The Monterey Plaza will charge at check-in a 25 per day hotel resort fee which includes parking, local phone calls, wi-fi, and fitness center access.
The Monterey Plaza is currently remodeling the main driveway and landscaping. This project is expected to finish 2/15/09. The main entrance will be moved to the side of the hotel. Valet parking and bell service will not be impacted. A temporary structure will provide shelter in the event of rain. Although the project will be noisy, the hotel will do everything possible to shield the guests.
The Monterey Plaza will be installing central air conditioning in all guestrooms. This project is expected to finish June 09. This project will not be noisy and we do not expect that the guests will be impacted.

Sail, whale watch or scuba dive in the protected marine sanctuary of Monterey Bay. Walk to Fisherman's Wharf, Old Town Monterey or the Maritime Museum, or take a scenic drive to Carmel, Pebble Beach, 17-Mile Drive or Big Sur. Spa guests must be at least 18 years of age.
